Nigel Smith
Founder & Managing Director
“Before setting up PdC from scratch in 2004, Nigel’s career was in Account management for global companies such as IBM and Cisco.
“Utilising the customer service that was taken for granted in the “Blue Chip” environment and taking it into the duct cleaning industry (such as it was) in the early 2000s, was apparently revolutionary.
“Dependability and honesty were seemingly not part of the customer-contractor contract.
“We like to think that the industry has come on since then, but we firmly believe that we have to continue to innovate.
“Not through AI, or this week’s latest innovation, but by delivering industry defining standards and reports. From people to people.
“We are here to take this stuff off your desk.”

“I have a passion for customer focused service with over 20 years’ experience and hope to meet all our lovely customers in person one day.
“Outside of work I love to travel and research new places or get away to the coast with my family whenever I can.”

“I don’t have much time for hobbies at the moment because I have 2 beautiful little girls who keep me on my toes!”
Stewart Smith

“I am a 41 year old dad of 2 who loves music, painting, reading and all things board games. I really enjoy live music and have been to some amazing venues big and small, my first gig was Metallica back when I was 16.
“My children are very important to me and I enjoy experiencing things with them that they have a passion for, which is why I have ended up at Comic Con and AEW wrestling events!
“I like working for PDC as it gives me a chance to connect with people and build business relationships. My previous experience is centred around customer service and people management.”
Lil Austin

“I have been with Pdc for many years now and have become an integral part of the team. Whilst working with Pdc I have made some great friends and it’s always nice to see new faces as the business grows.
“Outside of work I’m a keen hunter and my passion is anything from fishing to shooting. I have recently converted a camper van to travel the UK and expand on my limited knowledge and poor geography skills as google maps don’t work in remote areas.”

“Away from work I am a mum to a beautiful little girl, and lots of farm animals!”
Tracey Ward
Credit Controller
“I’ve worked in credit control / accounts for over 20 years. At PDC you will find me raising invoices to customers, answering account queries, chasing payments, inputting supplier invoices, arranging payments and anything else accounts related. It all keeps me busy 😊
Outside of work, I have two children who both play football, most of my weekends are spent ferrying them about & watching their games.”

Digital Marketing Consultant (PickUP Digital)
“I have been working with PdC for over 7 years – helping to generate leads through Search Marketing (amongst other things), and they were in fact PickUP Digital’s first ever client!
“As well as running my digital marketing consultancy, I spend a good amount of time aquascaping my 5(!) fish tanks and writing/playing music.
“I have a wife and a 9 year old son who is gaming-obsessed (Minecraft, Geometry Dash, Mario, Sonic etc) and we often spend weekends visiting various zoos/farms and anything else that gets him away from screens!”

Graphic Designer & Email Marketer (Kreative Freedom)
“I’ve worked as a Graphic Designer in agencies for 7 years. In 2023 I switched to freelancing and started my own business Kreative Freedom. Shortly after, I started working with PdC to look after their email marketing and graphic design.
“I work fully remotely running my graphic design business, which allows me to spend a good amount of my time travelling. I love exploring the great outdoors through my various adventure hobbies such as climbing, via ferrata and scuba diving!”
